Prof. Ranjan Ghosh is a faculty member and Chairperson at the Centre for Management in Agriculture, Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad. His research focuses on institutional economics, sustainable agri-food systems, and natural resource policy. Before joining IIMA, he taught at the Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences (SLU), Uppsala, and holds a PhD in Resource Economics from Humboldt University, Berlin.
He regularly advises national and international organisations including the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network (UN-SDSN), The Nature Conservancy, Food Systems Economics Commission, WHO, Environmental Defense Fund, European Union, CGIAR Global, the Ministry of Agriculture, FSSAI, and the Government of Gujarat. He serves on the boards of GNFC and the Wheels Global Foundation Water Council, and is the Country Head for the UN-SDSN-led FABLE Consortium within the global Food and Land-Use (FOLU) Coalition. His work has influenced policy in crop insurance, pandemic management, land governance, water security, food labelling, and fair food practices in India and the EU.

Prof. Sandip Chakrabarti is a faculty member in the Public Systems Group at the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and the JSW Chair in Innovation and Public Policy. He holds a PhD from the Sol Price School of Public Policy, University of Southern California, Los Angeles. His research and teaching interests span transportation economics, planning, and policy, environmental sustainability, public economics and finance, and urban development.
Sandip also serves as an Advisor-cum-Consultant to the Office of the Principal Accountant General (Audit-II), Gujarat. He is a member of the Sub-Committee on Smart Cities and Mobility, Ministry of Education, Government of India, and part of the Empowered Committee for Industry and International Collaboration in Critical and Emerging Technologies.

Sushant Kumar is the Founder and CEO of Kalpa Impact, where he leads initiatives at the intersection of technology, sustainability, and social impact. He is a social impact leader with over two decades of global experience across philanthropy, impact investing, strategy consulting, and systems change. Sushant brings deep expertise in leveraging technology for public good.
Prior to founding Kalpa Impact, Sushant served as Head of Strategy and Climate Adaptation and Resilience Initiatives at the Omidyar Network, where he also led the organisation’s work on responsible technology, data, and AI. His experience spans impact evaluations, qualitative and quantitative research, and strategic planning across sectors such as education, health, property rights, emerging technology, urban governance, and skilling.
Sushant is a member of global expert groups convened by the World Economic Forum and The Aspen Institute, and has served as a Board Member of Meridia. He is on the Advisory Board of the India Urban Data Exchange (IUDX) for Smart Cities.
He holds an Engineering degree from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT BHU), Varanasi, and an MBA from the London Business School.
